cooked, rinsed, drained 450gm Liquid from chickpeas 60 ml Lemon juice, fresh 45 ml Tahini paste 60 ml Salt As desired Garlic, crushed 15 gm Paprika a pinch for garnish Olive oil 30 ml
HOW TO COOK
- Combine drained Chick peas, liquid and garlic in the bowl of a food processor. Process for 2-3 minutes into a coarse.
- Add tahini, lemon juice and salt. Process until the mixture is very smooth.
- Transfer hummus to a medium size bowl or storage container. Add olive oil and stir well till well incorporated.
- Serve at room temperature. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with a lemon twist and paprika.
