French Cheeses – Infographic Series #1

Traditionally there are around 450 types of French cheeses and they have been grouped into 8 categories. In our upcoming series of four infographics, we will be describing the colour and texture of various popular and commonly used French cheeses and how they are made.

Below is the first infographic in this series, which describes how the following cheeses are made: Auvergne, Banon, Bresse Bleu, Beaumont, Barberey, Bonbel, Boursin, Brillat-Savarin, Bondane, Beaufort, Cantal,Carre de L’est, Cachat, Cabrion, Camembert and Chantelle cheeses.
