Chef P. Soundararajan, as the General Secretary of Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA), conceptualized and spearheaded ‘Chef Amudhupadai’ – a pioneering project to help underprivileged children.
He successfully guided the chefs to conduct “Chef Amudhupadai” program every month during 2006.
What is ‘Chef Amuthupadai’ program?
(Gourmet meals once a month to the underprivileged children)
The program included a visit to an orphanage every month followed by a sumptuous meal for the children. The
objective was to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children.
‘Chef Amudhupadai’ was a concept in which gourmet meals were prepared and served with entertainment at
the premises of more than 20 schools numbering around 10,000 children with the sole mission of enriching the lives of children.
The Program has undertaken, involved various homes for the under privileged.
The program also invited many members of IFCA around the city to serve the organization that works for the betterment of the society.
The Children enjoyed the privilege of being served with gourmet meals prepared by the leading Hotels
